Two people were hurt and a road closed for more than three hours after a crash in Thanet.

Police and ambulance crews were called to St Peter's Road, in Broadstairs, at 7.30pm last night after two cars collided.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Two people were treated for injuries by paramedics.

The road was re-opened at 10.51pm.
