A woman was taken to hospital after fire broke out at a home in Ramsgate.
Emergency services were called to Hereson Road, Ramsgate, at 9.50pm yesterday.
Fire crews, wearing breathing apparatus, put out the blaze which had started in a first-floor bedroom.
The woman, who suffered smoke inhalation, was taken to hospital while fire crews remained at the scene damping down.
The cause is not yet known.
