Police are investigating after a young man was robbed in an alleyway off Sussex Road in Tonbridge

Detectives in Tonbridge are appealing for information after a young man was robbed by three men in an alleyway.

On Sunday, November 18 an 18-year-old man reported that he was robbed in the alleyway off Sussex Road in Tonbridge between 7.30pm and 7.55pm.

He was taking a shortcut to a friend’s house when he was approached by three men.

They are all described as being white, aged between 22 to 27 years old, 6ft tall, and were all wearing grey tracksuits.

They told the victim to hand over his money, and one of them was reported to have had a knife, although the victim was uninjured. The men made off with £600.

Police are now appealing for witnesses, or anyone who saw three men acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
