Police are hunting a robber who stole wads of cash from a Tonbridge department store.
Officers were called to Beales at the Angel Centre on Saturday following reports a man had stolen a large amount of money.
The cash was taken from an office safe between 3.30pm and 3.40pm.
The man was disturbed by a member of staff whilst in the office. He pushed them out of the way before running away towards a taxi.
Officers believe the man got into the taxi and travelled to Tunbridge Wells town centre, where he got out near Argos in Calverley Road.
The suspect is described as a black male, aged in his 20s, of medium build. He is thought to be around 6ft tall with a southern accent and black cropped curly hair.
He was wearing a black and navy jacket which was elasticated at the neckline and wrists, dark jeans with a brown leather belt, and navy blue trainers.
Anyone with information about this incident can call Kent Police on 01622 604100 quoting crime reference YY/6377/17.
