Bourne was arrested in October 2014 when he was found to be in possession of cocaine when stopped by officers on patrol.

His residence at Walters Farm Road was then searched, which led to further discoveries of the class A drug in both his bedroom and his car.

Police also found over £4,000 in cash.

A judge at Maidstone Crown Court sentenced Bourne to three years in prison on Tuesday, February 2, 2016.

He pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to supply.

Kent Police made an application to the court to have a confiscation order put in place. Bourne's current assets were valued at £5,234 cash and a Mercedes.

Detective Kevin Barton, of Kent Police's Serious Economic Crime Unit, said: "No one should be allowed to benefit financially from committing crime, and we have again used this legislation to ensure criminals like Mr Bourne are made to pay back money they have made through illegal activities."
