Jack Davenport, from Tonbridge, charged after being arrested carrying a knuckle-duster

Officers have charged a man with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place after he was arrested yesterday in Tonbridge.

Police in plain clothes were patrolling the town centre yesterday when they arrested Jack Davenport, 24, in Barden Road.

Police seized a large gold knuckle duster and Davenport, of Hamble Road in Tonbridge, was arrested.

He was subsequently charged and bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, February 6.
