The man reportedly damaged four other properties in the local vicinity, including several shop windows and a church.

Damian Ksiazek, of no fixed address, was later charged with burglary, four counts of attempted burglary, theft from a shop, and possession of amphetamine.

He has since been remanded in custody and is due to reappear before Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, June 6.
