Four arrested on suspicion of arson after car fires in Tonbridge

Three teenagers and a young man have been arrested after a number of cars were set on fire earlier this week.

Police and the fire service were called to The Chase and Avon Close in Tonbridge on Thursday, May 18 after a Ford, Hyundai and Chevrolet were set alight in the early hours.

Officers and fire crews attended the scene and inquiries led to the identification of four suspects. The cause is not yet known.

At around 1.45am a 20-year-old man, two teenage girls and a boy were arrested on suspicion of arson and taken into custody.
