The 25-year-old, who finished last season on loan at Dulwich Hamlet, began his career at QPR.

He had a loan spell at Torquay before joining Chelmsford following his release by the Championship outfit.

Crichlow has also played for Hendon, Hanwell, Braintree and Hemel Hempstead.

“Firstly, I’m honoured to be here,” Crichlow told Tonbridge’s website.

“As a winger, I am quick and like to beat players one versus one, bringing both assists and goals.

“I’ve played against Tonbridge Angels and it’s always been a difficult game, so I knew Jay (Saunders) was a good manager and had a good set-up and this greatly helped with the process of signing.”

Tonbridge assistant boss Tom Parkinson said: “Gianni was recommended to us by the Sittingbourne manager, Ryan Maxwell, and he was a player we’ve kept tabs on because we were interested last season but couldn’t get a deal over the line, but this summer we are lucky enough to have done so.”
