Appeal after Tunbridge Wells woman seriously injured in crash at Crowborough

Police are appealing for information after a Tunbridge Wells woman was seriously injured and her 87-year-old passenger critically hurt in a crash.

The 50-year-old was travelling in her silver Volkswagen Golf when she collided with a red Volkswagen Kaddy van at the junction of Beeches Road with East Beeches Road, in Crowborough.

She suffered severe injuries and her passenger, a woman from Crowborough, was critically hurt. Both were taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital.

The van driver, a 61-year-old man from Crowborough, was unharmed.

The crash happened at 7.35pm last Thursday.

Sussex police are urging anyone who saw the collision or who may have other relevant information to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 1315 of 13/10.
