Arrest made after burglary at Tunbridge Wells newsagent

A suspected burglar has been arrested following a break-in at a newsagent.

Kent Police was called at around 4.30am this morning to the shop in Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells.

Cash, cigarettes, and alcohol were reported to have been stolen.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old local man close to the scene.

A search was carried out for a second man who has not yet been found.
