Car crashes into bus stop on A26 between Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells

A car overturned and hit a bus stop on the A26 this morning.

The vehicle was travelling on the Eridge Road between Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells when it crashed.

It was seriously damaged but the driver suffered minor injuries.

Fortunately no-one was waiting at the bus stop at the time.

Ambulance crews attended the scene and a spokesman said the cause of the crash is unknown.
