CCTV images have been released of burglary in a department store in Tunbridge Wells

Kent Police have released CCTV images following a burglary at a department store in Tunbridge Wells.

Thieves broke into John Lewis at Home in Kingstanding Business park on Sunday June 15 by forcing open a window.

It is reported that two men entered the premises at 6.51pm before stealing cash from the tills.

A short time later the men escaped through a fire exit in the store and they are believed to have fled the scene from a vehicle parked in Dowding Way.

Officers have now released CCTV images of the suspects and are urging members of the public who may have information to come forward.

One of the men is described as being white, 6ft tall, of slim build and aged between 25 and 30. He was wearing a light grey top with an Adidas logo on the front and three yellow stripes down each sleeve.

He had a scarf covering his face as well as a hood with leopard-skin pattern.

The second man was white, also around 6ft tall, slim and believed to be aged between 18 and early 20's. He was wearing a blue tracksuit with a hooded top and elasticated trousers around his ankles. He also covered his face with a scar.
