Mercedes driver plugs into Skoda garage in Tunbridge Wells to charge electric car

A cheeky driver was snapped pinching power from a car dealership to charge their electric car.

A black Mercedes was spotted parked up on the pavement outside the Skoda garage in Lamberts Road, Tunbridge Wells on Thursday (July 13) with an electric cord trailing from the garage.

One member of the public took a snap of the car at around 10pm.

The car garage confirmed it was aware of the issue, and had caught the incident on CCTV.

Police has been asked if an investigation is under way.
