Crews tackle blaze after car fire spreads in Kingstanding Way, Tunbridge Wells

Fire crews tackled a blaze at an industrial estate after a vehicle fire spread.

Four fire engines were called to the scene in Kingstanding Way, Tunbridge Wells, at 12.21pm where it is believed a vehicle caught alight and the flames spread to a nearby electrical substation.

The fire is now out and crews have left the scene, after using compressed air foam to cool any remaining hot spots.

No injuries have been reported and there is no immediate risk to the public.

Neighbouring businesses had been evacuated as a precaution and firefighters worked with affected businesses to retrieve personal items.

Duty of care has now been left with UK Power Network and the property owner.
