Drugs tsar Keith Hellawell's granddaughter admits supplying crack cocaine

A granddaughter of former Government drugs tsar Keith Hellawell is facing sentence for supplying drugs in Tunbridge Wells.

Gabriella Attidore, of Caldercliff Road, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, pleaded guilty to supplying crack cocaine when she appeared at Maidstone Crown Court by TV link with Leeds Crown Court on Friday.

Prosecutor John O’Higgins told an earlier hearing the drugs were found when the 22-year-old was stopped while driving a car in Tunbridge Wells on June 25.

Her passenger, Cedric Makiadi, 27, of Waterswood, Catford, south east London, has admitted to possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply.

He had 60 wraps of crack cocaine in his underpants. Attidore’s mobile phone had a “strong suggestion” of drug use on it.

Attidore, who has been before courts before for drug offences and wounding, will be sentenced with Makiadi on August 6. Bail was continued.
