Tunbridge Wells: Former police officer Daniel Fisher denies stalking

A man allegedly hired an actress to go to his ex-girlfriend’s house and tell her he was an MI6 agent in a vain effort to get her to meet him.

Former police officer Daniel Fisher is accused of staging the bizarre stunt in Tunbridge Wells after bombarding her with unwanted texts and emails.

He denied stalking at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court last Friday

The 29-year-old, pictured, of Epsom, Surrey, claims the victim repeatedly contacted him between November and December which made him believe she wanted to rekindle the relationship.

He was released on conditional bail to stay at his home, abide by a curfew and not contact any prosecution witness and will stand trial at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court in May.
