Tunbridge Wells man James Du Toit of Lime HIll Road banned from driving after drink driving

A Tunbridge Wells man has been banned from driving for 22 months after he was charged with drink driving.

James Du Toit was charged following an incident in St John’s Road, Tunbridge Wells, on August, 24.

The case was proved in his absence.

The 39-year-old, of Lime Hill Road, drove a Toyota Celica and when stopped gave a breath test of 87 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

On November, 21 magistrates disqualified Du Toit from driving for 22 months and fined him £600. He must also pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
