Murder trial of David Squelch, of Paddock Wood, accused of stabbing James Wallington to death at Tunbridge Wells to start

The trial of a man accused of murdering his work colleague at a Tunbridge Wells tip has been postponed.

David Squelch allegedly stabbed James Wallington to death at Cory Environmental Ltd recycling centre in North Farm Lane in March.

At a hearing in June the 48-year-old, of Maidstone Road, Paddock Wood, denied killing the much loved father.

Judge Philip Statman was to preside over the trial, which was scheduled to start today.

However, proceedings have been postponed until October 5.
