An elderly woman suffered serious head injuries after being hit by a car in Tunbridge Wells.

The 78-year-old is still in hospital following the crash on Monday.

Collision investigators are appealing for witness to the collision which happened shortly before 10.49am on Prospect Road, near the junction to Pembury Road.

The vehicle and driver of a Black Vauxhall Zafira, remained at the scene.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seriously injured in a collision in Tunbridge Wells.
