Police appeal after man exposes himself in Tunbridge Wells

Police are hoping to track down a white man in jogging bottoms after they received a string of reports about a flasher in Tunbridge Wells.

The reported indecent exposures happened between Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, July 8.

Officers received five separate reports of a man exposing himself in Hargate Woods near Broadwater Down.

The incidents happened during the morning and late afternoon.

The man is described as being white, aged being in his late 20s to 40s, of proportionate build with short blond or brown hair.

He was wearing a brown or blue top and jogging bottoms.

One victim also described tattoos on his arms.

Detective Sergeant Richard Pringle of the Tunbridge Wells Community Safety Unit said: "There were two further reports of a man exposing himself at around 7pm on Monday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 11 in Gladstone Road and Rusthall Road.

"We are linking these incidents and my officers are conducting a number of enquiries to track down the suspect.

"I would urge people to remain vigilant, be aware of your surroundings and if you have any concerns about suspicious behaviour report it immediately on 101 or 999 in an emergency."
