Fiona Fisher: Son admits killing mother in Crowborough

A man has admitted killing his mother after her body was found at their home.

Thomas Fisher, 22, has pleaded guilty to manslaughter by diminished responsibility after his mother Fiona Fisher, 51, was found dead in Lordswell Lane, Crowborough, East Sussex.

The body of the shop manager, who worked at bath and beauty products store L'Occitane in Tunbridge Wells, was discovered shortly before 7.30pm on Friday, April 27.

Police discovered her while visiting the address in response to a request for a welfare check.

Appearing at Lewes Crown Court, Thomas Fisher also admitted fraud after using a Marks and Spencer Mastercard in her name.

Mrs Fisher's family said after her death: "Fiona will be sadly missed by her daughter Megan, her mother Dorothy and stepfather Les, as well as her father.

"There are no words to explain the love those around her felt for her, she is irreplaceable."
