The four-storey building is wholly let to Tasty Plc until February 2036, with no breaks, meaning there is no threat of closure of the Turkish restaurant inside.

The property generates £130,000 pa in rental income and is advertised with a guide price of £1.25 million.

David Margolis, of Acuitus, said: “An asset of this size, situated in the affluent town of Royal Tunbridge Wells, will be a real draw for investors looking to secure a prime slice of real estate in the heart of the action.

“We previously sold this asset in 2014 for £1.87m, showing the long-term growth potential of this asset alongside the strong rental income from the tenants.”

The Acuitus auction will take place on December 13 at 1pm and will be broadcast via livestream on its website with bidding online, by telephone and by proxy.
