Two women in hospital following Pembury Bypass smash

Two women have been taken to hospital after a collision on the Pembury Northern Bypass, Pembury, near its junction with Old Church Road.

The accident happened at around at 10.17am and fire crews had to remove the roof of both cars with hydraulic cutting equipment, to free the casualties.

The road was closed earlier and a diversion put in place. All roads are now open.

Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
