Park Wood Lane in Staplehurst closed by KCC after mass fly-tipping

Fly-tipping has forced the council to shut off a country lane for seven days.

Park Wood Lane, in Staplehurst, will be closed from today while Kent County Council (KCC) investigates and clears a huge pile of rubbish that was illegally dumped.

An alternative route for motorists is available Staplehurst Road and Mill Lane.

KCC has been contacted for further comment.
