No charge after teen arrested following rape claims at Pokémon A-Level results party at Moo Moo, Tunbridge Wells

A teenager arrested following claims a girl was raped at a Pokémon-themed A-level results party in Tunbridge Wells has been released without charge.

The 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with allegations made after celebrations at Moo Moo nightclub in Newton Road in the early hours of Friday, August 19.

Today police revealed no one else has been arrested and investigations into the claim have stopped.

A spokesman said: "The arrested man has been released without charge. He was released due to a lack of evidence. No other arrests have been made in connection to this.

"Officers have followed all lines of inquiry and this particular case has now been filed. Should further information come to light, it will be fully investigated."

Moo Moo was hosting a Pokémon Go party, capitalising on the summer's popular virtual game craze, the same day many teenagers were out celebrating their A-level results.
