Aladdin the musical at London's Prince Edward Theatre

Disney fans rejoice - Aladdin the musical is bringing the magic of the classic film to life on the West End stage.

Parents looking for a fun family day out further afield can now book tickets to the critically-acclaimed production at London's Prince Edward Theatre up to June.

The musical opened in the UK last summer following a record-breaking run on Broadway.

So far, it has been seen by more than 1.5 million people, and has grown to four productions on three continents.

Starring Dean John-Wilson as Aladdin and former Sugababe Jade Ewen as Jasmine, the production features much-loved songs from the popular movie, as well as new music written by Tony, Olivier and eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken.

Broadway cast member Trevor Dion Nicholas makes his London stage debut as Genie and is joined by Don Gallagher as Jafar, Peter Howe as Iago, Irvine Iqbal as the Sultan, Nathan Amzi as Babkak, Stephen Rahman Hughes as Kassim and Rachid Sabitri as Omar.

Aladdin is on at the Prince Edward Theatre in Old Compton Street, London, from Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm with matinee performances on Thursday and Saturday at 2.30pm.

Tickets are on sale for performances up to and including June 3 for individuals and group bookings.
