Bestselling children’s author Derek Landy is coming to sign copies of his latest book at Bluewater.

Last Stand of Dead Men is the eighth title in the Skulduggery Pleasant series, which follows the eponymous hero, an undead sorcerer and detective, and his partner Valkyrie Cain, as they try to stop arch-villain Nefarian Serpine from taking over the world.

The first book in the series, Skulduggery Pleasant, was published in 2007, and won the coveted Red House Children's Book Award and the Hampshire Book Award.

His second novel, Playing With Fire, won an Irish Book Award for Children’s Book of the Year.

Irish author Derek will be at Waterstones from noon on Friday, August 30.
