Folkestone: Paddlesworth Project set to stage the Pitch Festival

A three-day festival is set to pitch up on a farm near Folkestone this weekend.

The Pitch Festival will be held at Paddlesworth Farm in School Road, Paddlesworth, from Friday, August 11 to Sunday, August 13.

The family-friendly festival, being staged by the Paddlesworth Project, is a new event featuring live music, theatre and workshops.

The eclectic mix of live bands and DJs includes Randolph Matthews, Violet Jive, Nina Clark, Pass the Cat, and Diane Dunn.

In the Sound Shed DJ sets include John Ashman, Jazz Beams, Steve Frone, Russ Cuban, Max and Miss Pink.

There will also be a range of workshops including puppetry and building a wormery and t-shirt screen printing, and there will be food from Dr Legumes, Whole World Food and Flo’s Falafel.

Tickets cost £30 with kids going free, and including camping.
