Now in its 17th year, the military show covers a vast period of history from around the world, and features more than 4,000 re-enactors and living history enthusiasts.

One of the world’s largest multi-period reenactment shows, thousands flock to the showground every year to watch battle commence through the centuries.

There will be living history groups from the Romans and Vikings, medieval and Napoleonic times, the American Civil War, the Wild West and both world wars right up to the present day.

The 200-acre site will have two separate arenas as well as a main battlefield, where groups will square up to each other throughout the three-day weekend.
