Dreamland Dog Day brings dog treats, training classes and agility courses to Margate for the bank holiday weekend

Bring your puppy pals down to the coast for a day of treats, training and walkies in the fresh sea air.

Dreamland Dog Day is a one-off event taking place over the bank holiday weekend that will welcome visitors and their four-legged friends to the vintage fairground in Margate.

Man’s best friend can join in with a number of activities, such as trick training with Enve Canine, an expert dog training club based in Minster, and candid canine shots with specialist dog photographer Gary Thatcher.

The training sessions cost £5 each, while the photographs will set you back £15.

If you’re on a budget, there will also be a ‘have a go’ agility course that dogs can compete in for just £1.50.

There are also a number of free activities, such as dog-friendly ice cream treats from Rosco’s and prizes for the best dressed pups.

You can also browse the stalls to find the perfect accessories and gifts for your companion, as well as grabbing a bite and something to drink for yourself.

The doggy day will take place on Sunday, April 30 and is free to enter, but some events are ticketed separately and can be booked in advance online.
