Traffic is queuing on the A299 Thanet Way near the Whitstable turn off after an accident.

Traffic is reportedly very slow moving, with traffic back towards the Brenley roundabout.

A police spokesman said: "Police were called to a report of a broken down vehicle on the A299 Thanet Way near Whitstable at 9.51am on Saturday May 19.

"Officers are at the scene where the London-bound carriageway has been closed temporarily in order to assist with the recovery of the lorry."
