Police called to Walmer Road, Whitstable after woman attacked by dog

A woman was rushed to hospital after she was attacked by a dog in Whitstable.

Police were called to the incident at a home in Walmer Road just before 1pm on Saturday.

The dog was removed from the property by police and transferred to a local vet.

The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance crews for treatment for minor injuries.
