Coach driver attacked by passenger

A COACH driver parked at Canterbury bus station was punched and kicked by a drunken passenger he refused to take to Dover.

The incident happened when the man attempted to board the National Express coach without a ticket or money.

Two passengers went to the driver’s aid and police are keen to speak to them and any other passengers who witnessed the assault.

The incident took place at about 1.30am on February 11.
