Trains between Dartford and London disrupted due to fallen tree at Barnehurst

A fallen tree is blocking the railway line between Dartford and London.

Trains running towards Lewisham are currently unable to run due to the incident.

There are disruption to Southeastern services running between Dartford and London this morning

It is being caused by a tree blocking the railway line at Barnehurst reported around 7.30am this morning.

Operator Southeastern has advised trains towards London may be cancelled, or diverted via Sidcup or Woolwich.

Delays are expected to last until 9am and commuters are being advised to check before they travel.

Tickets are being accepted on replacement bus services.

Eastbound services heading towards Dartford are still running.

The Met Office has currently put in place a yellow weather warning with strong winds expected until 9pm tonight.
