Traffic was also queuing near the Dartford Crossing following a broken down van on an exit slip road on the M25 clockwise at junction 1A near Bob Dunn Way.

As of 7.50pm, National Highways is reporting there are now no delays.

A planned full closure on the A2 coastbound, from the Dartford Bypass to the Bean interchange, is set to come into force from 10pm until 5am tomorrow morning.
