Liam Payne 28, of Dover, charged with burglary at Griffin Street, Deal

A man is due in crown court in the New Year accused of burglary.

Liam Payne, 28, was charged yesterday with raiding a property in Griffin Street, Deal, on December 9 when alcohol was stolen.

Canterbury Crown Court

He was also charged with a separate offence of possession of cannabis.

Payne, of Russell, Street, Dover appeared via virtual link at Medway Magistrates’ Court today (Monday) where he was remanded in custody.

The case will next be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, January 27.
