Antique 23in Westminster Whittington oak clock stolen in St Margaret's Bay

A large carved oak clock has been stolen in a house burglary.

It is a 23in high Westminster Whittington antique, around 23 inches (58cm) high.

The home, at Beach Road, St Margaret's Bay, was broken into between Monday, November 25, and Monday, December 2.

The clock's exact value is not confirmed.

Detectives investigating have released an image of the clock and want to hear from witnesses or anyone with information.

Det Con Darren Brough said: "This clock is of great sentimental value to the victim and we would urge anyone who knows where it might be or has been offered it for sale to contact us straight away."
