Wellingtons already has two locations in Deal, and are branching out to Dover after the meatball firm decided to go mobile.

Sharon Cullen, the owner said: "I am so excited to bring our breakfasts and coffee to Dover.

"We have been working so hard behind the scenes to transform the new Wellingtons site - the courtyard is my new favourite place.

"It is a little haven, like Dover's secret garden"

Ms Cullen's daughter Aimee added: "Having worked at Wellington's Deal for three years, I have come to know and love so many of our customers and I am so excited to get to know the residents of Dover in the same way.

"A very special shout out to George, Sofie and Lily for all their help in getting the venue ready to open on Wednesday, August 17!

"We are so proud that we are now going to be serving our coffee bean.

"We have worked incredibly hard with a roaster and we have created a fantastically smooth and delicious coffee, that not only will we be serving in house at Wellingtons Dover but also the coffee will be available to purchase."

The Meatball Company came to Dover last year after Mrs Cullan and her daughter Aimee Wilkinson were bored of the usual takeaway options during lockdown.

The pair wanted to provide a freshly-made takeaway option for meat-eaters as well as vegans.

But now, the team have decided to go mobile with that venture.

The Meatball Company posted on their Facebook page: "Our balls are on the move.

"Over the next couple of months we will be going mobile.
