The idea for the new concept in takeaway struck business women Sharon Cullen and daughter Aimee Wilkinson, home from university during lockdown.

Fed up with the usual takeaway pizza, Indian and Chinese and frustrated by the lack of freshly-made fast food for both meat lovers and vegans, they decided to launch their own.

Customers can choose from beef, gluten-free beef, lamb, cheese and potato, and Mighty Not Meaty™ vegan balls, their choice of hand-made sauce (cheese, traditional tomato, spicy tomato, pesto and gravy) and a selection of sides, including skin-on fries, chargrilled corn ‘ribs’, petit pois peas, loaded meatball fries, fresh pasta and macaroni cheese bites.

Bites like popcorn shrimp or chicken, plus beef, lamb, chicken, Mighty Not Meaty™ vegan, and vegetarian halloumi burgers in pretzel buns are also available along with desserts, including a Biscoff vegan cheesecake.

Dairy and vegan thickshakes flavoured with many of the nation’s favourite sweeties, biscuits and chocolate bars, are also available.

Sharon said: "Our balls are rolled with love using premium cuts of meat and locally sourced ingredients.

"We’ve also packed our menu with vegan options including our own Mighty Not Meat plant-based balls, bites and burgers as well as options for other special dietary requirements like gluten-free.

“And with the kids meals, it means there really is something for everyone.”

Sharon, Aimee and their team refitted the premises in the High Street, a former wine merchant with vine-decorated window glass, to serve as home for the business.

Aimee adds: "We are excited to be a part of the regeneration of Dover now underway, to provide jobs for local people and support local suppliers.”
