Fant residents are being invited to a "pop-in" session in St Michael's Hall to meet their ward councillors and raise any problems or queries.

The session will be held at the hall in St Michael's Road, Maidstone, on Friday, September 13, between 6pm and 8pm, with the chance to talk to Cllrs Margaret Rose, Paul Harper and Keith Adkinson.

In addition, on Friday, September 20, there will be a meeting specifically to discuss the borough council's draft Local Plan, which is currently out to public consultation.

Cllr Margaret Rose (10583510)

Cllr Rose (Lab) said: "We do hope as many people as possible will come along and we will do our best to answer any questions they may have and hear their views."

There is local concern that a previously defeated proposal for development at Fant Farm, although currently not included in the Local Plan, could be thrown in at some later stage.
