Jeffrey Mills denies murder of Andrew Jenkins after shooting in Maidstone

A Shepway man has pleaded not guilty to murder after a shooting in a quiet residential street in broad daylight.

Jeffrey Mills, of Cambridge Crescent, denies murdering Rochester man Andrew Jenkins.

The 54-year-old who appeared via CCTV link to Elmley Prison, also faces three firearms charges but pleas were not taken.

Jeffery Mills is accused of murder

He was remanded into custody.

He is expected to claim self-defence.
