James, who grew up in Medway, shared the experience with his followers on Instagram.

He showed off 3D images of the baby, which is due in March.

He said: "Ladies and gentleman, there's our little girl, hiding behind her hands."

They received several pictures of their "little munchkin" and were given a soft toy with the sound of their baby's heart.

The pair announced the pregnancy in September in an exclusive interview with Hello magazine.

Sharing the news with his Twitter followers, he said: "Myself & @The_OlaJordan have been waiting for this moment for what seems like an eternity. After being with each other for 20 years & our love for each other growing stronger every day we can now share our amazing news that we are expecting a baby!!"

Earlier this year they revealed they were undergoing IVF treatment after their struggles with trying for a baby.

They told Hello that Ola fell pregnant on the first round of IVF in June, despite doctors giving them a 50% success rate on their first attempt.

James, 41, told the magazine: "We've been with each other for 20 years, married for 16, travelled the world, achieved amazing things in our careers: trophies, accolades, Ola won Strictly Come Dancing, I won Dancing On Ice.

"But finding out that we are pregnant is no doubt our biggest achievement ever.
