Girl, 13, in 'serious but stable' condition after collision with BMW in Sutton Road, Maidstone

A 13-year-old girl who was hit by a car in Maidstone remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

The crash, involving a white BMW and the pedestrian, happened in Sutton Road, near its junction with Nottingham Avenue at about 8pm on Saturday.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses, including those who have dash cam footage from the area around the time of the collision.
