Pictures of Kent coming to life: The spring we're missing out on while in coronavirus lockdown

While we have entered the fifth week of lockdown, the great outdoors continues to burst into life.

Sadly, watching lambs playfully run around the fields or admiring a blanket of colourful bluebells are the highlights of spring most of us are missing out on.

Thankfully, our daily exercise sessions give us a chance to glimpse the glories of April - which is proving to be one of the sunniest in recent records.

But those daily walks and time spent in the garden are treating us to just a fraction of what spring has to offer.
