Veronica Obadara looked out her kitchen window to see the vehicle well alight and called 999.

Firefighters arrived promptly and battled with the flames for almost 30 minutes.

The fire destroyed the front of the Audi completely, melting the two front tyres, the windshield, bonnet, the driver's seat and the front passenger seat.

It also melted the front bumper of a Mercedes Benz parked next to it.

There was no-one in the vehicle and no injuries were reported.
