Police said two people had reported feeling unwell in the area.

A building on the street was evacuated and a road closure was in place as authorities deal with the incident, which is not being treated as terror-related.

Police later confirmed the package contained a substance which was assessed as non-toxic and non-hazardous.

The premises has now re-opened and the crime scene is closed.

Enquiries continue.
