Firefighters called to Citadel Crescent, Dover, as high winds cause roof to become ‘unsafe'

High winds have caused a roof to become insecure and debris to be scattered around a residential area.

Firefighters were dispatched at 2.33pm to Citadel Crescent in Dover to make the situation safe.

But a warning has been issued advising people of the potential danger and items blowing around.

Three fire engines, a height vehicle, and a rope rescue unit have all been deployed.

Crews say to avoid the area while they deal with the situation, which remains ongoing.
