Woman pedestrian, 80, airlifted after collision with car in Biggin Street, Dover

An 80-year-old woman pedestrian has been airlifted to a London hospital after a car crash in Biggin Street, Dover.

The air ambulance was called, landing in the grounds of Dover College after the incident at 2pm.

Kent Police press spokesman Adam Westgarth said: "Police are currently at the scene of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

"Officers were called to Biggin Street, Dover at 2pm, and a woman in her 80s has been taken to a London Hospital by air ambulance."

Traffic is easing after earlier delays because of the incident.
