Wales fans fear missing historic Euro 2016 match against Belgium as Eurotunnel reports five hour delays

Hundreds of anxious Wales fans are caught up in delays at Eurotunnel today, with fears some may miss the historic match against Belgium.

A broken down train last night left passengers waiting in the tunnel for several hours, and further problems today have exacerbated delays.

On social media fans are reporting waits of up to six hours, and many are worried they'll miss Wales' biggest game in decades.

Earlier today manager Chris Coleman told the BBC the match against Belgium, scheduled for an 8pm kick-off in Lille, was the most important since 1958.

He said: "Since that 1958 quarter-final, we have to put this down as the biggest game our country's ever been involved in."

But for the Welsh fans the news looks bleak - Eurotunnel say they expect the delays to continue for the rest of the day, leaving them little chance of making the start.

Passengers have taken to social media to vent their frustrations.
